About the Washed Linen Fitted Sheet
Linen is the fabric people switch to and do not switch back from: it moves heat away instead of trapping it, it gets softer with every wash rather than pilling, and it looks intentional creased, which removes ironing from the equation entirely. This is a washed linen fitted sheet in a plain weave, reactive-dyed so the colour holds. The 35 cm skirt is deep enough for a modern mattress with a topper on it — the usual reason a fitted sheet pings off a corner at 2am. 150 × 200 cm, which fits a Queen.

Still deciding? Linen Bedding: Is It Worth It?
Linen bedding is worth it if you sleep warm, keep bedding for years, and do not mind a relaxed, creased look. Linen moves heat and moisture away faster than cotton, softens with every wash instead of pilling, and commonly lasts three to five times as long as a cotton sheet, which offsets the higher purchase price. It is not worth it if you want a crisp hotel finish, since washed linen is deliberately rumpled and ironing it defeats the point, or if you dislike a slightly textured surface against your skin.
Questions about the Washed Linen Fitted Sheet
What mattress size does it fit?
150 × 200 cm, which corresponds to a US Queen (152 × 203 cm) and a UK King (150 × 200 cm). It is cut with a 35 cm skirt, so it also fits a Queen with a mattress topper on top.
Does linen get softer?
Yes, noticeably, and it keeps going for years. Linen fibres soften with every wash rather than pilling the way cotton-poly blends do, which is why a linen sheet tends to be at its best after about ten washes.
Does it need ironing?
No. Washed linen is meant to look relaxed, and the creases are the character rather than a fault. If you want it flatter, take it out of the dryer slightly damp and smooth it onto the bed.
Is linen too cool for winter?
Linen is more temperature-neutral than its reputation suggests. It moves moisture and heat away efficiently, which reads as cool in summer, but under a winter duvet it insulates perfectly well.
Is a flat sheet or pillowcase included?
No, this is the fitted sheet only. Our linen pillowcases are sold separately and are cut from the same washed linen family.
