About the 4-Piece Brushed Sheet Set
The workhorse set: a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two pillowcases, in a washed and brushed synthetic microfibre. Microfibre is not linen and does not pretend to be — what it is, is cheap to replace, quick to dry, wrinkle-resistant enough to skip ironing entirely, and soft from the first night rather than the tenth. That combination is why it is the right sheet for a spare room, a first apartment or a household that changes bedding weekly and would rather not be careful about it.

US mattress sizes are Twin (38 by 75 inches), Twin XL (38 by 80), Full (54 by 75), Queen (60 by 80), King (76 by 80), and California King (72 by 84). Buying sheets to match the label is only half the job: the fitted sheet also has to clear your mattress depth. Measure from the top of the mattress to the bottom, add any topper, and buy standard-pocket sheets up to 14 inches, deep-pocket to 17, and extra-deep beyond that. Two to three sets per bed is the practical number.

What is in the set?
Four pieces: a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two pillowcases. It is a complete change of bedding other than the duvet cover.
Is it cotton?
No. The supplier's specification lists the material as synthetic fibre — a brushed microfibre — and that is what we sell it as, whatever similar listings elsewhere claim. If you specifically want a natural fibre, our washed linen fitted sheet is the alternative.
Does microfibre sleep hot?
Warmer than linen or percale cotton, yes. Microfibre traps more heat and moves less moisture, which is cosy in a cold room and less comfortable in a warm one. If you sleep hot, the linen sheet or a cooling pillowcase is the better buy.
Does it need ironing?
No. Wrinkle resistance is microfibre's real advantage — take it out of the dryer promptly and it goes on the bed flat.
What size is it?
Queen. The supplier makes the same set in Twin through California King, but Queen is the size we stock.
