Not sure which size?
For one person, a 3 to 4 quart air fryer is enough. For two to three people, 5 to 6 quarts is the practical sweet spot and the most common size sold. For four or more, go to 8 quarts or a dual-basket model, because anything smaller forces you to cook in batches and the first batch is cold before the second is done. Quart ratings describe total basket volume, not usable cooking area, so assume roughly two thirds of the number is space you can actually fill in a single layer.
