About the Food Vacuum Sealer, 110V

A compact sealer for a household that batch-cooks or buys meat on offer. One press pulls the air and welds the bag; dry, wet, soft and powdered foods each get their own setting, so a bag of coffee is not crushed on the same cycle as a steak. Small enough to live in a drawer rather than take a permanent slice of counter.

What's inside

  • 120W, 110V US plug — we ship the US variant, not a UK or EU one
  • Separate dry, wet, soft and powder modes
  • ABS housing, wipes clean
  • Fits standard embossed vacuum bags and rolls

Still deciding? Are Vacuum Sealers Worth It?

A vacuum sealer is worth it if you buy meat in bulk or freeze a lot of what you cook: sealed meat keeps roughly 2 to 3 years in a freezer against 6 months in a freezer bag, because freezer burn is caused by air contact. It is not worth it if you mostly shop weekly for fresh food. Never vacuum seal soft cheeses, raw mushrooms, raw garlic in oil, or anything still warm — the low-oxygen environment favours the bacteria you least want, including the one that causes botulism.

Questions about the Food Vacuum Sealer, 110V

Is this the US 110V version?

Yes. We ship the 110V US-plug variant specifically, not the UK or EU one. The catalogue was pinned to that variant on purpose.

Can it seal liquids?

Not directly — the pump pulls liquid up the bag before the seal forms. Freeze soup or stock solid in a container first, then seal the frozen block.

What are the four modes for?

Dry, wet, soft and powder. They change how hard and how long the machine pulls, so a bag of coffee is not crushed on the same cycle as a steak.

What bags does it take?

Standard embossed vacuum bags and rolls. The embossed texture is what gives the pump a channel to draw air through; smooth freezer bags will not seal on any external sealer.

How long does vacuum-sealed meat last frozen?

Roughly 2 to 3 years for beef, pork and lamb and about 2 years for chicken and fish, against about 6 months in a standard freezer bag. The gain is from eliminating air contact, not from any change to the meat.
