About the Electric Coffee & Spice Grinder, 300W
A 300W blade grinder that takes whole beans to a fine grind in about twenty seconds, and does the same for peppercorns, cinnamon, nuts and dry herbs. The stainless grinding cup detaches, so grounds tip straight into the brewer instead of shaking a fixed chamber over the counter.
What's inside
- 300W motor, stainless steel blade and grinding cup
- Removable cup — pour without tipping the whole machine
- Coffee, spices, nuts, grain and dry herbs
- Cleaning brush included
Still deciding? Burr vs Blade Grinder: Which One Do You Need?
Buy a burr grinder if you make espresso or pour-over, where an even particle size is the difference between a good cup and a sour one. A blade grinder is genuinely fine for drip and French press, and it does something no burr grinder will: it grinds peppercorns, cinnamon, nuts and dry herbs without being ruined. The rule is about consistency, not quality — burrs crush every bean to the same size, blades chop until you stop, producing dust and boulders together. Dust over-extracts and tastes bitter, boulders under-extract and taste sour, and immersion brewing hides both.
Questions about the Electric Coffee & Spice Grinder, 300W
Is this a burr or a blade grinder?
A blade grinder. That makes it right for drip and French press, and it is the only type you can also grind spices in. If you pull espresso or make pour-over, buy a burr grinder instead — we would rather say so than sell you the wrong tool.
Can I grind spices in it?
Yes, and it is one of the real advantages. Peppercorns, coriander, cumin, cinnamon, dried chillies and nuts all go through it. Grinding a little plain rice afterwards lifts residual oils.
How long should I run it?
Do not hold the button down. Use five to eight one-second pulses, shaking the grinder between them so the outer beans reach the blade. That is far more even than a continuous run and keeps the grounds cool.
Does the grinding cup come out?
Yes. The stainless cup detaches, so grounds tip straight into the brewer instead of you shaking a fixed chamber over the counter.
How do I clean it?
Unplug it, brush the chamber out dry with the included brush, and wipe with a barely damp cloth. Never submerge the motor housing.
